Kazimierz |

This historical district of Krakow city it is often known to
be home to Jewish community (14th century until II World

Wawel |
|
The renaissance Royal Castle at Wawel (one of the most
imposing Castles in Europe) and the gothic St Mary's
Basilica is Poland's national sanctuary. This was the
coronation side for Polish monarchs for many centuries

Old Town |
|
Old Town is lying in the heart of the city .The most popular
place is the Main Market Square a medieval textile bazaar
where in past Polish kings came the day after their
coronations to meet the city's burghers and receive homage
and tribute in the name of all the towns of Poland. In the
middle of the Main Market Square stands the Renaissance
Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) which formerly was built in the
Gothic style. There is small remaining of the Old Town
fortifications at the end of the main street of Old Town
called Florianska Street, also well known to local people as
the artists' corner.

Parks |

Planty Park is encircling the whole Old Town. It was laid
down on the remains of the city walls.
